Is the Sewing Hub Wheelchair accessible?
The venue is fully accessible with one door to access from the car park.  There are accessible toilets and adjustable tables to suit the height and fittings on your wheelchair.

Can I bring children to the class?
We may be able to offer classes for children in the near future but currently, it’s not possible.  However, our beginners classes are +12 with adult supervision required for under 18s.  Our sewing circle classes are 18+. Should you wish to attend with a very young child/baby please contact us to discuss prior to booking.

Are there lockers for personal possessions?
Yes, you will be allocated a locker for your bag and will be encouraged to use it to prevent any tripping hazards.

    What refreshments do you offer?
We have tea bags, fresh coffee, milk, sugar, an assortment of fruit teas and biscuits.

Can I bring my own food and drink to a class?
If you are attending an all day workshop, you are welcome to bring some lunch with you.  We have a kitchen with a fridge and microwave, a small selection of plates, mugs and cutlery.  However, we do ask that when taking refreshments you sit in the ‘Crafting Corner’ or cafe area (if available) to avoid sticky fingers on furniture and equipment. We would appreciate your cooperation. Thanks.

Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, we have some parking on site but it depends on what else is going on.  There is street parking in Rose Road but it is limited to 2 hours.  There are disabled bays on site and on the street.  Parking is at your own risk.  Several bus routes stop nearby, please check locally or online.
