Re-hash the Trash – Saturday 4th May

We love upcycling!  Something new to wear with very little environmental impact!
Every month we hope to be able to offer a workshop that looks at repurposing some of your old clothes or textiles into something you’re going to love to wear!

The workshop will run on Saturday 4th May, 10am to 4pm with a half hour lunch break.

Please see below for more information!

Category: Product ID: 22302

This month’s workshop will enable you to use a simple waistcoat pattern, add some design details, trims, pockets etc.  Use the fabric of your choice, something that you’re happy to cut into, we have the machinery to cope with heavy textiles, so feel free to bring a selection with you to get advice on what will work best.

Once you sign up for this workshop we will write to you with more details about what you need to bring with you.  E.g You’ll need some lunch and you may need a metre of lining fabric and some thread to match your textile. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be available and included in the cost.

NB. You will need to bring your own textiles and as we like to keep costs as low as possible, it is with regret that this workshop will only run with a minimum of 3 bookings. 5 places available.

If you’re concerned you won’t finish you can join a ‘Sewing Circle’ to complete your project.
