Directions to the Southampton Sewing Hub

9-19 Rose Road, Southampton. SO14 6TE

By car: Heading towards City Centre on The Avenue, turn left at the traffic lights (‘Stag Gates’) into Lodge Road. 
Turn first left into Rose Road. (Church on corner). On your right you will see a red brick building with an archway, called Unity 12. See below for parking advice. 

By foot: We are approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the City Centre. When you get to Rose Road, please proceed all the way through the archway, and turn left into the ‘courtyard’. You do not need to go into the main reception area. You will see our sign and logo to the left of our doors. Please ring the doorbell.

By cycle: There are good cycle routes especially from Shirley across the Common. The Avenue also has dedicated cycle lanes, please see above for directions. You can lock your bicycle in ‘lean-to’ in the corner of the courtyard. We can direct you on arrival.

By Bus: The following routes stop very close to the Sewing Hub: 1N1 and U2. You can plan your journey here – https://myjourneysouthampton.com/bus/

Parking

Please note as far as the Landlord is concerned, parking on site is for tenants of the building and they should take preference. However, we have two allocated spaces – through the archway and round the back of the building and there is parking for disabled visitors, please use your blue badge. For weekend and evening classes you can usually use ‘Spectrum’ Spaces, but it does depend whether there are any other bookings at our conference room facilities.

There is on-street parking for two hours locally and a long stay car park at Cemetery Road just off the Avenue/Northlands Road – approximately 10 minutes walk away.
